Jayne's Story
A life shaped by people
Jayne Banful is a Professional Counsellor and Life Coach whose work sits at the meeting point of emotional healing, practical growth and faith.
She leads the Counselling Service at the Family Development Centre, London, and serves as Associate Pastor of Praise Christian Centre in London.
Her driving passion is to see people who are broken and hurting set free, healed and empowered to live the life they were purposed to live.
Counselling
A space to be honest
Jayne's clinical practice offers a confidential space for people navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional distress and difficult life experiences.
The work is unhurried and deeply human: helping people process what they have lived through, understand their responses and move towards stability and renewed confidence.
Coaching
Moving forward with clarity
Where counselling helps people heal, coaching helps people move. Jayne works with individuals to identify strengths, name limitations and take practical steps towards the life they want to build.
Ministry

Her ministry has been described as “speaking a word in season to those who are weary.”
A dynamic Bible teacher, Jayne communicates the Word of God with conviction, warmth and a witty sense of humour, never losing sight of the person in the room.

Empowered Living is the wider movement behind Jayne's work: emotional healing, spiritual growth, self-awareness, purpose, confidence and freedom.
It exists to help people heal from what has happened, understand who they are and move confidently towards who they are becoming.
