Go On Holiday With Jesus

Life can wear us out. Not always through one dramatic event, but through the slow accumulation of pressure, responsibilities we carry quietly, disappointments we never processed, expectations we never agreed to.

When we allow those pressures to settle heavily in our hearts, weariness stops being something we feel occasionally and becomes the place we live from.

Jesus does not respond to that weariness with a longer list. He responds with an invitation. Come. Get away with me. Recover your life.

There is something wonderfully unhurried about that invitation. It is not a demand to perform better; it is an offer to rest deeply. To step out of the noise, put down what was never ours to carry and learn a different rhythm.

So go on holiday with Jesus. Not necessarily to another country, but to a quieter place in your heart where you can breathe again, be honest again and be restored again.
